Founder of the Simian Group, previously Rory founded, built up and sold Comstor Ltd, a major Cisco distributor (originally RBR Networks). He is also a major shareholder in the Star Technology Group - a leading provider of technology services comprising MessageLabs and Star Internet.
Nick was appointed as Group Managing Director in April 2006, having served as Group Finance Director since July 2001. Prior to joining the Simian Group Nick held the position of Finance Director at Comstor (1997-2001) and at UB Networks (1994-1997) He is a Chartered Accountant (Arthur Andersen & Co), and previously worked for Grand Metropolitan, Dixons Stores Group and the Maxwell Group.
David has served as the Group Sales Director since August 2000. Prior to that he was Sales Manager at Comstor Ltd (1994 - 1999) and was heavily involved in the period of rapid growth when sales ramped from $50m to over $500m pa.
A professional investor and corporate advisor, David brings a wealth of experience to the Board. Formerly the senior partner of a central London firm of solicitors, Chairman of Enfield & Haringey Health Authority, and a board member of the Housing Corporation and NHS Logistics, David is currently a director of a number of public and private companies.
In 1999 Mark co-founded Zycko with Rory Sweet and served as the Marketing Director until leaving in 2005 to set up hardware.com, the reseller arm of the Simian Group. Hardware.com is one of the fastest growing resellers in the UK achieving sales of £11m in 2007.
